Maymont Park
Maymont Park is one of the hidden treasures of our neighborhood. 100 acres within the city, along the James River, where you can see two gardens and tons of wildlife exhibits. Less than 2-miles from the 2600 Block of W Cary St, Maymont has a petting zoo, black bears, bobcats, bison, and a nature center. Growing up in the neighborhood, and into parenthood, Maymont is a place every member of my family has enjoyed.
